Rex Printing & Stationery continues to prove this theory, defying all odds and using the test of time to improve and expand our line of products through advancements in printing and stationery manufacturing. Formally J.S.M Press, Rex has been in operation since 1965 — now producing over forty products, increasing from just two at inception.
Managing Director Cliff Hylton fulfilled his vision that same year by publishing The Jamaican Driver's Guide — the only learner-driver's guide produced in Jamaica by a Jamaican. In 1966, its counterpart Automotive Technology Questions & Answers was born, serving applicants requiring a general driver's licence. Both books remain staples for Jamaican drivers and are available at bookstores and pharmacies islandwide.
